LSRFUR are pleased to announce further stagings of our successful Take Up The Whistle courses.
The purpose of this course is to encourage all people to take up refereeing rugby union, be that current/former players, parents or coaches.
The course provides an introduction to refereeing the 15 a-side game, including outdoor, practical elements, so suitable clothing is required! Each participants receives a whistle, lanyard and red/yellow cards at the start of the course.
Courses are held at local schools/ clubs and can be completed on a weekend morning or over two evenings. Each course is presented by experienced referees from the society. The course costs £20 per person.
We have upcoming courses will taking place at Grasshoppers RFC (TW7 5PN) on the evenings of 10 & 22 February 2020 and Old Reigatians RFC (RH2 8JX) on 25 March & 1 April.
