Central & General Meeting - NEW VENUE - DATE CONFIRMED - PLEASE REGISTER

  • 14-15 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PS (map)

We have a new exciting new venue the Auditorium, Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), Belgrave Square, SW1X 8PS (www.soci.org), nearest Tube Stations are Hyde Park Corner, Victoria, Knightsbridge, Sloane Square. Post event hospitality will be hosted at The Star Tavern, 6 Belgrave Mews, just behind the SCI.

We are delighted that we will be joined by Nick Buoy as our guest speaker. Nick will be sharing his views on the Ethos of Officiating Youth Rugby from his position as the Director of Rugby at Brighton College for the past 18 years.

Nick’s extensive rugby experience & knowledge is best illustrated by a snapshot of a week at Brighton College:- refereeing U11 tournament, coaching U11-U18 Teams, hosting the England Men’s team and catching up with former Brighton College pupil Marcus Smith for some kicking practice. Nick has coached in the National League and regularly mentors’ other coaches on RFU courses. Many of us know Nick always has time to share his thoughts on aspects of refereeing in a constructive & supportive manner, perhaps influenced by his father who was a member of the London Society many years ago.

Please come along to what should be a great evening, learning how we can support coaches like Nick in developing the next wave of rugby players and maybe even the next England fly-half!! The meeting will begin with the Annual General Meeting, more about this will be communicated by the General Secretary in due course.

To aid the organisation of Central Meetings it would be appreciated if you could register your intention to attend via the below link.
